Freezing is this winter time, but love and warmth is felt through written language.The power of letters transcends time and space.25 children, and 50 letters; they are all for our dear parents.
這是蘇城外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)校中學(xué)部九年級(jí)二班的學(xué)生,在近期學(xué)校開展的家長(zhǎng)會(huì)上,給爸爸媽媽準(zhǔn)備的“神秘禮物”。而小小的信件,不禁讓人感受到SCFLS家長(zhǎng)會(huì)別樣的溫暖。
These were the secret presents prepared by the SCFLS Class 2 Year 9 students for their parents on the recent parents’ meeting. The letters brought a unique sense of warmth for the parents’ meeting in SCFLS.

Coming for You
這是本學(xué)期的第一次大型家長(zhǎng)會(huì)。本次家長(zhǎng)會(huì),在班主任和孩子們的精心準(zhǔn)備下拉開了序幕。每個(gè)班級(jí)都做了充分準(zhǔn)備:教室里干凈整潔,黑板上寫有家長(zhǎng)會(huì)的主題或歡迎標(biāo)語(yǔ),向家長(zhǎng)展示著班級(jí)的整體情況和學(xué)習(xí)氛圍。
This is the first parents’ meeting of this semester since the pandemic started.Each class was well prepared with a clean and tidy environment. Students’ assignments were put on the table in order, and welcome slogans were written on the white board, showing the overall situation of the whole class to the parents.

Gathering and Expectation
家長(zhǎng)會(huì)上,各班針對(duì)本班實(shí)際,結(jié)合本班的“重點(diǎn)、熱點(diǎn)、難點(diǎn)、焦點(diǎn)”問(wèn)題,有針對(duì)性地安排了家長(zhǎng)會(huì)內(nèi)容,營(yíng)造輕松和諧的氛圍。
During the parents’ meeting, the contents were specially arranged according to the real situation of each class, integrated with key, hot, difficult and focus issues. A relaxing and harmonious environment was created.

While analysing the mid-term exams, honoring excellent students, and sharing from student and parent representatives. Everyone was engaged in the discussion. Not only did us pay attention to the grades of the students, but also focus more on students’ physical and mental health.

溝通·一對(duì)一
集中家長(zhǎng)會(huì)之后,每個(gè)班級(jí)的任科老師走進(jìn)班級(jí)與家長(zhǎng)們一對(duì)一面對(duì)面溝通。
After that, each subject teachers had a one-on-one communication with the parents.
老師們就孩子的學(xué)期發(fā)展情況及個(gè)性化的指導(dǎo)方案與家長(zhǎng)進(jìn)行詳細(xì)、全面、專業(yè)的交流,讓家長(zhǎng)了解孩子的成長(zhǎng),為的是更好地讓學(xué)生在蘇城外能夠健康快樂(lè)成長(zhǎng),做最好的自己。
Focusing on students’ improvement of this semester and individualised guidance plan, the subject teachers had a detailed, all-round and profession communication with the parents, so as to let parents learn about their children’s development. This can better allow students to develop both healthily and happily in SCFLS.
