時(shí)值六月仲夏，充斥著汗水、激情與青春芬芳，

蘇城外迎來了一場競技盛會(huì)，

 蘇城外國語學(xué)校 & 蘇州工業(yè)園區(qū)外國語學(xué)校 

 校際籃球友誼賽 

在這個(gè)令人醉心的季節(jié)里拉開了序幕。

Filled with sweat, enthusiasm and fragance of youth, a sports event was held in SCFLS in this early summer, which is a basketball friendly match between SCFLS & SIPFLS.

教練現(xiàn)場表演扣籃，與學(xué)生3對(duì)3半場挑戰(zhàn)賽，學(xué)生們絲毫不怯場，幾位教頭也大顯身手，接球、過人、起跳、暴扣，一連串的動(dòng)作令人眼花繚亂，雖然只有短短幾分鐘，熊熊戰(zhàn)火，已然升起。

At the beginning of this match, the coaches performed dunks surrounded by a great cheer, after which, the host announced that some candidates would be selected on spot to have the 3V3 half-court game with the coaches. The selected candidates were still energetic even though their rivals were the coaches who performed a series of professional passes, dribble-ins and dunks. Although it was just several minutes, the atmosphere was already burning.

The principle of SCFLS, Eric Chen, told the students that, while having the competition, they need to pay attention to safety as well. In addition, with the purpose of strengthen the cooperation between two schools, they should race out of style and level.

天生自帶光環(huán)，登場即是主場

奔跑、傳球、投籃、吶喊，

關(guān)鍵一投的絕地反彈，

三分命中的高光時(shí)刻，

怎一個(gè)英姿颯爽了得。

 在這場以激情為翼的比賽中，

 沒有平凡者，

 每個(gè)蘇城外的學(xué)子都是C位。

而拋開籃球賽的形式本身，

他們所探索了更加珍貴的某些精神。

No one in this competition is ordinary, and every student from SCFLS is under the spotlight. What we gain from this basketball competition is some invaluable spirits.

由蘇城外總校長陳杰先生跳球。當(dāng)籃球被高高拋起時(shí)，比賽正式打響！你爭我奪，我投你擋；你飛躍，我蓋帽；我過人，你對(duì)抗。機(jī)關(guān)算盡，防不勝防。

Eric Chen tossed the ball up for a center jump, at which moment, the match began. 

 勝利從來不是一個(gè)人的榮耀，

 而是一群人的汗水。

一波又一波得心應(yīng)手的戰(zhàn)術(shù)配合，

一次又一次心有靈犀的精湛傳球，

一發(fā)又一發(fā)精準(zhǔn)無比的三分命中，

一群人，一起為學(xué)校爭光。

A person would never obtain the victory but people. We shine and glow for our school.

高中的學(xué)長們一起為初中的學(xué)弟們吶喊助威。在他們的加油聲中，小學(xué)弟們拼搏努力。比分交替，差距在2到3分之間。突然，對(duì)方變換戰(zhàn)術(shù)，后場留人，前場一個(gè)長傳，后場隊(duì)員接球后，立馬如入無人之境，就在起步上籃時(shí)，來自蘇城外的隊(duì)員，一個(gè)漂亮的蓋帽，將其封死，化險(xiǎn)為夷。大家長舒一口氣。比賽精彩激烈，讓人意猶未盡。

With the support and encouragement from the high school students, the junior students tried really hard. In such fierce competition, a successful shooting was even rare to see. When the scoring gap came to around 3 points, our rival team adjusted their tactics. They threw a long pass to the player in the backcourt, who was almost neglected by us, but surprisingly blocked by Jimmy Sun from Grade 9 Class 4, therefore, the audience finally had a moment to relieve.

在這場“沒有硝煙的戰(zhàn)場”中，

參賽隊(duì)員雖然“摩拳擦掌”，

但也深入落實(shí)了

“友誼第一 比賽第二”

的奧林匹克精神。

In this battle ground without smoke, the spirit of Olympics has been implemented in despite of competitiveness.

成功并不僅僅意味著比分板上的數(shù)字，

我們?yōu)榱耸裁炊\(yùn)動(dòng)？

每個(gè)人的理由都可以各不相同。

為了享受運(yùn)動(dòng)的快樂，

為了熱愛而熱愛，

為了什么，

其實(shí)并不重要，

重要的是，只要你上場。

There are various reasons for why we do sports. It could be enjoyment or enthusiasm. However, it actually does not matter. What really matters is your participation.
