蘇州外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)校相城校區(qū)2019年學(xué)生會(huì)競(jìng)選活動(dòng)在激動(dòng)與緊張的氛圍中拉開了帷幕。來自七、八年級(jí)的老師和同學(xué)們共同出席了這一盛會(huì)。

The 2019 student union election campaign opened in an atmosphere of excitement and tension in SCFLS. Teachers and students from Year 7 and Year 8 attended the event with enthusiasm.

現(xiàn)場(chǎng)氣氛十分熱烈，各位競(jìng)選者大展身手，逐夢(mèng)蘇城。

The candidates showed their talents to pursue their dreams. We can see the passion and dream in the students. 

這里是激情與夢(mèng)想的對(duì)決；這里是青春與活力的釋放。豪氣在這里升起，才情在這里盡顯。

Their youth and vitality were released. Moreover, their courage and talents were evident.

大會(huì)首先給首屆優(yōu)秀學(xué)生會(huì)干部進(jìn)行表彰和頒獎(jiǎng)。每一份激情與夢(mèng)想，都是一朵艷麗的花；每一聲問候與鼓勵(lì)，都是一首不朽的詩(shī)；每一次奮斗與拼搏，都是一曲騰飛的歌。這些學(xué)生會(huì)的骨干成員，他們不畏寒暑，全心全意，細(xì)心到不放過任何一個(gè)死角；認(rèn)真到不錯(cuò)失任何一個(gè)課間，公平公正，合情合理。

First of all, the school praised and presented awards to the excellent members of the first batch of Student Union. The student union members pursue their dreams with passion and they keep on encouraging each other. They work very hard together as a team. These key members of the student union are not afraid of anything, but they do everything wholeheartedly. 

最終獲此殊榮的有陳璟涑、楊嘉碩、王媛、溫泉、莫佳怡。他們是學(xué)生中的精英，是新生的楷模。

In the end, the winners of this honor were Chen Yun, Yang Jiashuo, Wang Yuan, Wen Quan and Mo Jiayi. They are the elites and also role models for the new students. 

大展身手，構(gòu)夢(mèng)蘇城

新一屆的競(jìng)選開始了！各個(gè)競(jìng)選者逐一登臺(tái)，華山論劍，大展身手。

Then the new election began. All the candidates were ready to compete and showed their talents.

每位參選者先自我介紹，說明個(gè)人競(jìng)選的職務(wù)優(yōu)勢(shì)及今后即將開展的工作設(shè)想。由評(píng)委現(xiàn)場(chǎng)出題，對(duì)同一職位的競(jìng)選者開展擂臺(tái)PK，并現(xiàn)場(chǎng)打分。

Firstly, each candidate needs to give a self-introduction and explain why they are running for the position. The students running for the same position should answer questions given by the judges and they would be given points on the spot based on their performance.

不少競(jìng)選者帶來了才藝展示，富有感染力的表演贏得了現(xiàn)場(chǎng)陣陣掌聲！

Many candidates also showcased their talent and won the applause of the audience!

烽火燃起，激情PK

最激動(dòng)人心的時(shí)刻到來了，那就是新老學(xué)生會(huì)干部對(duì)同一職位進(jìn)行擂臺(tái)PK！

Here comes the most exciting part- candidates running for the same position had a last round of competition.

八年級(jí)的學(xué)長(zhǎng)學(xué)姐們自有一種舍我其誰(shuí)的氣勢(shì)，七年級(jí)的新生們也不甘示弱，大有初生牛犢不怕虎的拼勁。

The Year 8 students were full of confidence while Year 7 students were also unwilling to give up. 

智慧的火花在這里激蕩，專注的精神在此刻展現(xiàn)，這是競(jìng)爭(zhēng)，更是交流。面對(duì)評(píng)委們給出的難題，他們或凝神思考，或成竹在胸，或侃侃而談……無論結(jié)果如何，你們認(rèn)真的樣子就是青春最美好的勛章，也是SCFLS最靚麗的風(fēng)景。

They demonstrated their wisdom and grit during the event. Besides competing, they were exchanging ideas. Facing the difficult questions from the judges, they dare to think, talk and share. No matter what the result is, their participation is more valuable than anything else.
