      SCFLS 高中部家長(zhǎng)開放日 | 家校攜手 共育成長(zhǎng)

      蘇城外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)校以創(chuàng)建“精品學(xué)校”為目標(biāo),致力成為一所與眾不同的國(guó)際學(xué)校。為構(gòu)建學(xué)習(xí)者社區(qū),增進(jìn)家校溝通,推進(jìn)我校“全納全人”教育,10月25日,我校高中部舉辦了家長(zhǎng)開放日活動(dòng)。

      Soochow Foreign Language School defines “Quality School” as its development strategy and strives to be a unique IB World School. On 25th October, our senior high school organized the School Open Day to construct the learner community, to enhance family-school communication, and to further promote “Holistic Inclusive” education of our school.





      教育的本質(zhì)是揚(yáng)長(zhǎng)補(bǔ)短,承認(rèn)差異和尊重差異,因材施教,有教無(wú)類。教師落實(shí)ATT,將IB的理念融入課堂;學(xué)生鍛煉ATL,將學(xué)科知識(shí)內(nèi)化于心,共同演繹了一堂堂充滿活力和探究精神的公開課。

      The nature of education is to give full play of their strength to offset their weakness, to admit and respect differentiation, to teach students in accordance with their aptitude, and to provide education for all people without discrimination. Teachers will implement ATT (Approach to Teaching), and integrate the IB philosophy into class, while students will exercise ATL (Approach to Learning) to achieve mastery in all subjects. A lively and inquiry-based observation class was thus presented to the parents.



      上了國(guó)際高中并不意味著輕松,為了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自我管理技能,我們實(shí)行嚴(yán)而有度的學(xué)生管理制度。高中部學(xué)生處副主任陸老師分別從學(xué)生成長(zhǎng)檔案、學(xué)生儀容儀表要求、學(xué)生零食規(guī)定、學(xué)生電子設(shè)備規(guī)定及電腦使用規(guī)定和學(xué)生計(jì)分條例規(guī)則及處分種類為家長(zhǎng)做了詳細(xì)講解,并且展示了高中部德育核心團(tuán)隊(duì)、學(xué)生會(huì)和家委會(huì)的架構(gòu)圖以及CAS的內(nèi)容和規(guī)劃。

      High school life is not easy to adapt to. The rigorous student management policy is implemented to cultivate their self-management skills. From the Student Growth Portfolio to the requirements on students’ appearance, from snack regulations to the electronic devices and computer using regulations, from the demerit point system to the punishment of violation of the rules, senior high school Student Office Deputy Director Elaine Lu made an explicit explanation for parents. Also, she illustrated the core team of ethical education in senior high school, the organizational charts of both the Student Union and Parent Committee, the contents and planning of CAS.



      高中部學(xué)習(xí)處主任兼DPC方老師對(duì)教學(xué)常規(guī)做了報(bào)告,如SEN,校長(zhǎng)視導(dǎo)課,學(xué)生語(yǔ)言檔案,Managebac,中英文數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)。

      Senior high school Learning Office Director and DP Coordinator Jessica Fang made a report on the teaching routines, such as SEN, inspection classes, student Language Portfolio, Managebac, Chinese and English databases. 



      陸老師介紹了劍橋國(guó)際課程的教育方法、課程設(shè)置和分?jǐn)?shù)等級(jí)等。

      Also, Elaine Lu introduced the teaching approaches of Cambridge international courses, curriculums, grades and etc. 



      升學(xué)指導(dǎo)中心主任助理金老師對(duì)升學(xué)指導(dǎo)前期規(guī)劃工作進(jìn)行了總結(jié),向家長(zhǎng)匯報(bào)了目前意向國(guó)家、專業(yè)和托福/雅思報(bào)考的情況,以大學(xué)申請(qǐng)為主題,引導(dǎo)家長(zhǎng)重視學(xué)生發(fā)展,共同探討如何更好地進(jìn)行準(zhǔn)備,并對(duì)常見問題進(jìn)行了專業(yè)指導(dǎo)。

      University Counselling Centre Assistant Director Connor Jin made a summary about the preliminary work. He reported to the parents about students’ ideal countries for oversea study, majors and IELTS/TOEFL tests schedule. Themed on university application, he guided the parents to focus on student development, made discussions on how to make better preparations, and gave professional counselling on some common problems encountered.



      家長(zhǎng)與各科教師根據(jù)學(xué)生的個(gè)體情況,進(jìn)行深度討論中。

      Parents were having in-depth discussions with subject teachers on students’ situations.



      半天的活動(dòng),內(nèi)容滿滿,家校情融,拉近了家校距離,融合了家校關(guān)系,讓家長(zhǎng)更多地了解孩子,熟悉學(xué)校,感受學(xué)生在校的學(xué)習(xí)和生活氛圍, 為進(jìn)一步提升家校合作奠定了堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。

      This half-day event shortens the distance and promotes the relationship between home and school, so that parents could know more about their children and the school. This helps to lay a solid foundation for improving the family-school cooperation.
