 什么是學習成果展？ 

What is PYP exhibition?

從語言文字到歷史文化，從科技創(chuàng)新到藝術設計，從影視文化到民俗生活，蘇城外國語學校首屆PYP學習成果展中，19個小組利用8周時間，在導師和家長的幫助下，探究了人們表達觀點和情感的方式，反思、擴展和享受我們的創(chuàng)造力和審美。

From language to history, from technology to arts, from movies to customs，19 groups in 8 weeks, inquired into our ways of expression, how we reflect on, extend and enjoy our creativity and our appreciation of the aesthetic.

今年夏天，我們將迎來SCFLS-PYP小學

第二屆五年級學習成果展！

本次成果展將圍繞超學科主題

“我們身處什么時空”展開，

從三月底開始，一直持續(xù)到六月初。

在預備周，我們已經完成了印制導師手冊與學生手冊、導師聘任與培訓、學生宣講等工作。

學生們還通過小組合作制作海報等形式展示了自己對于成果展的理解與期待。

接下來，我們即將開始前期評估、師生分組、搜集資料等工作。

This year’s exhibition will start from March to June under the transdisciplinary theme “Where we are in time and space”. In the preparation week, we have printed the Mentor’s Handbook and Students’ Journal, appointed the mentors, organized mentor meeting and students’ introduction. The students collaborated in groups and demonstrated their understanding and expectation of the PYPX via posters. In the following weeks, we will begin the exhibition according to the inquiry cycle.

在成果展啟動儀式上，總校長李春雷、副校長楊瑛、小學部副校長楊家潔女士全程出席了此次活動。

李春雷校長作動員講話，短短三年多的時間，蘇城外國語學校從對IB課程感興趣，到成為IB候選學校，再到獲得DP與PYP課程的正式授權，每一步都走得堅定執(zhí)著！

相信在整個學習社區(qū)的努力下，

MYP的授權未來可期！

將是SCFLS長期奮斗的目標!

On the mentor appointment ceremony, 2nd of April, PYPC Mrs Lydia Zhu reflected the PYPX of last year, explained the expectation of IB on PYP exhibition, and shared this year’s timeline with all the teachers.General Principal of Soochow Foreign Language School Mr. David Li awarded the appointment letter to every mentor and gave an inspiring impromptu speech. In his speech, he reviewed the achievements of our school from an interested school, to a candidate school, and finally becomes an officially authorized DP and PYP school in the past three years. With the endeavor of the whole school community, MYP can be expected to get authorized in the future. It is the school’s long-term goal to become an IB believer and defender.

在導師聘任儀式上，蘇城外國語學?？傂ｉL李春雷先生為每位導師頒發(fā)聘任證書。

PYP協(xié)調員朱哲老師與大家一起回顧、總結了首屆成果展，解讀了IB文件對于成果展的要求，并展示了本次成果展的時間線。

 為什么要如此看重IB課程？ 

因為IB課程是當今主流國際課程中極為重要的一種，并在一定程度上代表著未來教育的發(fā)展方向。蘇城外國語學校將進一步發(fā)揮IB課程的優(yōu)勢，為祖國培養(yǎng)更多的具有批判性思維和創(chuàng)新意識的棟梁之才，為世界培養(yǎng)更多具有“中國靈魂、國際情懷”的終身學習者！

Why does the school value IB? Because IB is one of the most important international courses in the world. It represents the development of future education to a certain extent. Our school will further utilize the advantages of the IB curriculum, cultivate more critical thinking and innovative talents for the country, and develop more life-long learners with "Chinese identity and international mindedness" for the world!

學習成果展的成功舉辦離不開整個學習社區(qū)的努力與支持，相信有學生的積極探究與團隊合作，有老師們的悉心指導、有家長們的大力協(xié)助，還有學校和社會的親切關懷，SCFLS-PYP小學五年級的孩子們將會度過一段充實而難忘的旅程！

The success of the PYP Exhibition is inseparable from the efforts and support of the entire learning community. With the assistance from teachers, the understanding of parents, and the support from school and the society, the Year 5 students of Soochow Foreign Language School will have a fulfilling and unforgettable journey!
