教育孩子是學(xué)校和家庭共同的使命，只有學(xué)校與家長(zhǎng)們共同擔(dān)負(fù)起培養(yǎng)孩子的責(zé)任，才有可能培養(yǎng)出真正具有“中國(guó)靈魂 國(guó)際情懷”的下一代。

It is a shared responsibility for schools and families to educate a child. Only when these two sides shoulder the same education responsibilities can we cultivate our future generations with real Chinese identity and international mindedness.

蘇城外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)校從開(kāi)學(xué)初就開(kāi)始了各班家委會(huì)的籌劃組建工作。經(jīng)過(guò)一個(gè)多月的籌備，10月18日，第三屆校級(jí)家委會(huì)競(jìng)選的號(hào)角終于嘹亮吹響。

Since the beginning of the new semester, Soochow Foreign Language School has been planning on the construction of Parent Committee of each class. After preparing for over a month, the 3rd School-level Parent Committee member election finally took place on 18th October. 

總校長(zhǎng)李春雷先生、副校長(zhǎng)楊瑛女士、副校長(zhǎng)李方華先生、校長(zhǎng)助理魏吉平先生、教師代表戴康及家長(zhǎng)代表?xiàng)顏喢?，全校中層及以上干部、部分教師代表、各學(xué)部家委會(huì)成員共同出席了本次大會(huì)。

Present at this conference were General Principal Mr. David Li, Vice Principal Ms. Chloe Yang, Vice Principal Mr. William Wei, teacher representative Mr. Damon Dai, parent representative Ms. Yang Yamei, school-wide middle level administrators, some teacher representatives, and Parent Committee members of each division. 

副校長(zhǎng)楊瑛女士主持會(huì)議，并回顧了往屆家校共建工作。蘇城外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)校首屆校級(jí)家委會(huì)創(chuàng)辦于2018年3月，至今已歷經(jīng)兩屆，各成員通力合作，盡心盡責(zé)，建立起聯(lián)系學(xué)校、家長(zhǎng)以及社會(huì)的橋梁。這一年多的時(shí)間，在兩屆家委會(huì)以及全體家長(zhǎng)的支持與幫助下，蘇城外度過(guò)了意義非凡的初創(chuàng)期，鞏固期，與家長(zhǎng)們共同見(jiàn)證孩子的成長(zhǎng)與發(fā)展。

Being the host of this conference, Vice Principal Ms. Chloe Yang reviewed the development of our Parent Committee for these years. It was in March 2018 that the first SCFLS Parent Committee was established. Till now, it has been two years. All committee members work closely and devotedly to try to build a bridge among the school, parents and the society as a whole. Under the support and help from the Parent Committee and all parents, SCFLS has undergone the year of foundation and consolidation, witnessing the growth and development of all children together with our parents.

In SCFLS, we have more than one student from the same family, which reflects parents’ trust and recognition towards the school and the IB educational philosophy.

總校長(zhǎng)表示，家校共育不僅要理念相通，一脈相承，更要落到一體化設(shè)計(jì)中來(lái)。IB非常強(qiáng)調(diào)學(xué)習(xí)社區(qū)的概念，要建立所有利益相關(guān)者之間的伙伴關(guān)系，通過(guò)這些伙伴關(guān)系，發(fā)展和支持共同的愿景、使命、信念和價(jià)值觀。懇切希望本屆家委會(huì)能夠形成一股合力，傳達(dá)兩方聲音，協(xié)同全體家長(zhǎng)，凝聚共識(shí)，勤勉工作，積極參與，確保家校間的溝通更加暢順，配合更加默契，更好地發(fā)揮學(xué)校、家庭一體化的教育功能！

In his speech, David Li stressed that not only should the educational philosophy of family-school education remain consecutive, but should be implemented coherently. It is strongly emphasized by IB that we should build the learner community with all stakeholders being taken into consideration, through which we can develop and support our shared vision, mission, belief and values. It is sincerely hoped that the Parent Committee could unite as a whole to be a bridge between families and the school. Therefore, a better communication between families and the school can be ensured to have better cooperation, and take better advantage of the education function of the school and families through assisting all parents with hard work and active participation.

Work with the excellent, with those who respect differentiation, and with the like-minded people.

競(jìng)選者都是來(lái)自各學(xué)部家委的骨干成員，看得出，大家為了此次競(jìng)選可謂八仙過(guò)海各顯神通。名校碩士畢業(yè)、留學(xué)海歸都不在話下，“責(zé)任心強(qiáng)”、“十多年團(tuán)隊(duì)管理經(jīng)驗(yàn)”、“協(xié)同意識(shí)”、“公益組織常務(wù)委員”等通通都是加分項(xiàng)。

All candidates are backbone members from the Parent Committee of each division. It is quite obvious that they’ve made full preparations and showed all their talents for this competition.

Attentive with own judgments 

情真意切的演說(shuō)，誠(chéng)懇坦然的交流，對(duì)孩子美好未來(lái)的期待，對(duì)學(xué)校美好前程的憧憬，贏得了現(xiàn)場(chǎng)老師和家長(zhǎng)代表們陣陣熱烈的掌聲。演講結(jié)束后，大家都投下了自己神圣的信任之票。

The passionate speeches, sincere communications and great expectations won warm applause from the teachers and parent representatives present. After all the speeches, everyone present voted for their favorite candidate.

家委會(huì)工作是一根沉甸甸的接力棒，是全心全意為班級(jí)孩子所做的服務(wù)，是只講奉獻(xiàn)不求回報(bào)的無(wú)私無(wú)畏的付出，是實(shí)現(xiàn)家校攜手、共育新苗的堅(jiān)實(shí)后盾。秉承公平公正的原則，在監(jiān)督委員會(huì)的見(jiàn)證下，來(lái)自小學(xué)部的李雪崧女士以最高票數(shù)成功競(jìng)選為第三屆校級(jí)家委會(huì)會(huì)長(zhǎng)！

The responsibilities of Parent Committee require whole-hearted and selfless devotion to all children, the classes and the school. It acts as the steadfast supporter for promoting family-school education, and guarantees the development of children. With the presence of the supervisory committee, Ms. Li Xuesong was successfully elected as the Director of the 3rd School-level Parent Committee.
